This advice is not for newbies. This is for those of you waging the weight or four years. You know what works. You’ve gained and lost and gained and lost and gained it all again. I’m not encouraging you to yo-yo diet. That is unhealthy and dangerous! However, we all come to a point where we are less strict with our eating habits. Maybe your portion sizes of gotten out of control again. Maybe you’ve introduced more high fructose corn syrup products, empty calorie junk food products, and simple carbs. Maybe you started drinking liters of soda again. Perhaps, you have started doing a starvation diet and totally wrecked your metabolism again. You could have stopped drinking as much water as you should each day. Maybe you have started consuming too much alcohol. Possibly, it is not your eating habits but your lack of exercise. You may have gone from working out 5 to 6 days a week to working out one day a week.

You know what you did to lose the weight. If you were using a food journal, you know which kinds of foods and quantities of food your body is more sensitive to. I’m not saying that you can never have junkfood again or you have to avoid cookies and cakes for the rest of your life. If you lost the weight in a healthy way through diet, exercise, and with a professional monitoring your progress; you can go back and see what you need to do to get on track. Take control of your health and well-being. If you need help doing that then reach out again to a professional.
